A skydiver crashed into the Lane Stadium scoreboard earlier than Virginia Tech’s spring soccer recreation Saturday.
Virginia Tech officers stated on X that the skydiver “was safely secured and is presently secure” following rescue efforts. The incident brought on a delay within the begin of the spring recreation.
“Grateful for recreation days with Hokie Nation and for the Blacksburg and Virginia Tech first responders whose fast actions safely returned as we speak’s parachuter to the bottom with out harm,” the college stated.
The title of the skydiver wasn’t launched.
