HP OmniBook 5 14 Laptop
14-inch 2K display, Snapdragon X1 CPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD
$499.99
at HP
$1,149.99
Save $650.00
HP is one of the most dependable names on the market for budget laptops, and this OmniBook 5 is a strong contender with a price drop this deep. We reviewed a slightly more powerful build with a Snapdragon X Plus processor and thought it was great, giving the portable an Editors’ Choice award for its slim construction, long battery life and good productivity performance. This loadout drops the RAM and storage loadout a bit, but you still get a colorful 2K OLED display, plenty of ports, and battery life that stretches up to 34 hours.
HP Omen Max 45L Gaming Desktop
Ryzen 7 9700X, Radeon RX 9070XT, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD
$2,399.99
at HP
$3,999.99
Save $1,600.00
We gave the base model Omen Max 45L an Editors’ Choice award in our review, with desktop expert Charles Jefferies declaring the massive prebuilt delivered on “top-notch quality, easy serviceability, room for six storage drives, and outstanding performance.” The Max refresh added a new split-level cooling system called Cryo Chamber, which separates the liquid cooling gear from the tower body for even better heat efficiency. This is a very solid machine component-wise, with an excellent AMD CPU and GPU, plenty of RAM, and lots of storage. A $1600 discount is about as deep as they come.

HP OmniDesk Tower PC
Intel Core i3-14100, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD
$519.99
at HP
$779.99
Save $260.00
Setting up a PC at home for the family, but don’t want to break the bank? HP’s OmniDesk tower is a great option. While it doesn’t pump out gaming-level power, it’s a solid option for productivity, schoolwork, media streaming, and more. We haven’t put this model through rigorous testing yet, but we do have a CES preview where we highlighted its modern design, solid construction, and use of on-device AI at a mainstream price. Plenty of front and rear ports provide connectivity options, and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 deliver solid wireless performance.

HP Omen 32Q Gaming Monitor
31.5-inch screen, 1440p, 165Hz refresh rate
$299.99
at HP
$449.99
Save $150.00
Here’s an all-purpose monitor that we gave an “Excellent” rating to. With exceedingly low input lag, it’s a good pick for 1440p gamers, and the color quality and HDR brightness are both way better than you’d expect at this price range. You can read our full review for a detailed breakdown and benchmarking tests, but if you want the Cliff Notes, it’s simple: nice big screen, fast refresh rate, and a no-frills look with a decent selection of ports (although no speakers). With a $150 price cut, it dominates most other monitors on the market.
HP Envy 6555e All-In-One Printer
Print, scan, fax, 10ppm
$99.99
at HP
$179.99
Save $80.00
HP’s printer line ranges from compact light-duty units to massive office beasts, and the Envy 6555e is a solid midrange machine that, when paired with the useful Instant Ink service, is a nearly maintenance-free option. A $70 price drop makes it even more compelling. In our review, we noted that the Envy 6555e delivered good print quality in both color and black and white, with useful features like being able to scan to email. Its running speed is pretty slow, so if volume is a concern, look elsewhere, but for a hundred bucks, plus three free months of Instant Ink, it’s a tremendous deal.

FAQ
Can I Find HP Deals on Amazon, Walmart, or Best Buy?
Yes, you can find deals on HP PC systems, monitors, and printers on those retailers’ websites and inside their brick-and-mortar stores. Definitely check out Amazon and Walmart regularly for new deals, particularly during major sales holidays, including Prime Day.
When Does HP Offer the Biggest Sales on Its Products?
You can generally follow the most popular shopping holidays of the year to keep up with when HP drops prices to their lowest. While Black Friday and Cyber Monday typically see the deepest price cuts across the board, Back-to-School sales also slash prices on student-focused products. Of course, Amazon Prime Day is a significant event to watch for deals on HP products sold through Amazon and competing retailers.
Are HP Laptops and Printers Cheaper During Black Friday or Amazon’s Spring Sale?
While you might find some deals on HP laptops and printers during Amazon’s Spring Sale and Prime Day events, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are generally the best times to look for the most significant discounts on HP laptops, desktops, and printers.
Does HP Have Exclusive Student or Military Discounts?
HP provides a potentially steep discount for military members, veterans, and their families, often around 40% off, but it’s not an overall price reduction. Rather, the discounts likely differ among the products sold within HP’s HP Frontline Heroes Store, which requires ID verification to access.
