The annual White Home Correspondents’ Dinner ended abruptly Saturday evening after gunfire was exchanged between suspect Cole Allen and Secret Service brokers on the Washington Hilton lodge in Washington, D.C. One agent was injured after having been shot in his bulletproof vest and has been launched from the hospital.
President Trump, first woman Melania Trump, and a number of other White Home employees and cupboard members, who weren’t injured, had been rushed from the lodge.
Allen, who’s believed to have traveled from Torrance, Calif. to Washington, D.C., was arrested on the scene and is at present in custody.
